heds started in 2021 as a fully digital brand and 3D studio, creating computer-generated music videos & beat tapes with the international underground producer community.

Led by founders DEFFIE, sober rob, and 0xcambot, the transition to an IRL brand was marked by the opening of the Melrose heds space in January of 2024.

As services provided by heds slowly expanded into live production, hedsRADIO was born. Recording sets in the store led to spinoffs like carRADIO, which has rapidly taken the music industry by storm as a platform for uniquely exhibiting dj sets & new releases.

In January of 2026, we chose to move forward without the Melrose store in pursuit of taking carRADIO to the next level. Future developments include recording carRADIO in new cities around the world, exploring new show formats, developing custom apparel drops & more.
